Air Jordan 9 "Birmingham Barons"

As many of your know, Michael Jordan took some time off from the NBA to try his hand on the diamond, taking his talents down to Birmingham, AL to try out for a minor league team called the Barons. As evidenced by their uniforms, which inspired the look for these new Air Jordan 9′s, the AAA team was affiliated with the Chicago White Sox, with the grey and white colorway taking car of the upper while black does the midsole and the striped inner liner. The shoes also feature a grey lacing system, a black midsole, and MJ’s number stamped on the heel. A never before seen look on an iconic silo, this Air Jordan 9 “Birmingham Barons” is scheduled to release at select shops, including Marquee Sole. via FreshnessMag.com
