The Air Max 2090 Joins Nike’s “Brushstroke” Pack

Since first emerging on the scene at the end of June through a duo of Air Force 1,

colorways,

Nike/Jordan Brand’s “Brushstroke” Pack has gradually invited in more members into its company such as the Blazer Mid and Air Jordan 1 Low. The common denominator here is that they’ve all been models of retro descent, but that will soon change as it has kicked off the month of August by welcoming a more modernized Swoosh entry in the Air Max 2090Shedding the black uppers utilized on the recently-previewed “Bleached Aqua” Air Max 2090, the Sportswear model dials its synthetic bases and tumbled leather mudguards with a snowy white backdrop, and color-blocks through the paint-like Swooshes in black, with supportive “University Red” hits applying to the exposed midfoot stitches, “air” branding, and heel molds. Moreover, the liners and full treading are done up with stealthy skins. You can view a gallery of more photos here, and expect these to drop on Nike.com in the coming weeks for $150. via sneakernews.com via SneakerNews.com

Kith Coca-Cola Season 5 Collection

While last year’s collection was inspired by Hawaii, this year Kith x Coca-Cola spans the entire country, drawing inspiration from road tripping coast to coast, combining sensibilities from different parts of America. The 73-style range infuses heritage Americana aesthetic with Coca-Cola’s iconic identity, with pieces such as denim jackets, William III Hoodies, camp collar shirts, and a re-introduction of Kith’s Vintage Tee Program. This program highlights the road trip experience through reinterpretations of iconic Coca-Cola ads seen while driving cross-country. Complementing the apparel is an assortment of lifestyle accessories, ranging from headwear to door mats to diecast car replicas.

Kith x Coca-Cola Season 5 releases this Saturday, August 15th, at 10AM CT on Kith.com. The collection will also drop at Kith Tokyo, Selfridges, and Hirshleifers. Check out the men’s and women’s Kith x Coca-Cola Season 5 lookbooks below. A detailed 108-page catalog is also up for viewing.

Kobe 5 Protro Celebrates Kobe Bryant's Fifth NBA Title

It looks like the rollout for the Nike Zoom Kobe 5 Protro continues with the

latest release paying homage to Kobe Bryant capturing his fifth NBA

championship ten years ago. Thanks to leaked images provided by nikezoomkobe, a first look at the

upcoming iteration of the Kobe 5 Protro features a split black and white upper inspired by the home and away versions of the "Big Stage" colorway

that's paired with designs from Bryant's "Parade" PE. Capping off the look are gold accents covering the Swoosh branding, the tongue, and the heel counter. While an official release date has yet to be confirmed by Nike, GOAT currently has this "Big Stage/Parade" Nike Kobe 5 Protro scheduled launching on Feb. 7. Check back soon for official details.

UPDATE (01/26): Official images of the "Big Stage Parade" Nike Kobe 5 slated to release Feb. 7 via Nike.

UPDATE (08/08): First reported by j23app, the "Big Stage Parade" Kobe 5 Protro is back on launch calendars with an Aug. 23 release date. Nike has yet to confirm the release.

The Nike Air Max 2090 Touches On The OG “Laser Blue”

Perhaps because Nike made the executive decision to reissue the classic

Air Max 90 “Laser Blue” this year, they found it appropriate to

allow its theme to style other silhouettes both classic and modern that

fall under the Nike Sportswear

umbrella. So far this season, the motif has transferred itself to members
such as the Air Max 95Air Max 90 FlyEase, and Air Max 97, and now
it is navigating its way to one of the more modern Swoosh offerings in the
Air Max 2090Its synthetic foundation surely is the biggest head-turner here
as it is tinted with the bright and refreshing titular hue, and comes packaged
with exposed stitchings that surround the throat, as well as mudguards that
supplement with black touches. The midsole arranges in two parts,

the heels sporting a blacked-out exterior, while the forefoot color-blocks in

a clean white.

You can view detailed shots of the shoes here, and expect them to drop on

August 13th in Asia,

followed by a stateside release on Nike.comlikely to follow shortly

after. via SneakerNews.com
