SoCal sneaker boutique Blends has joined forces once again with Born Free and Vans Vault, with this latest go-round yielding a new OG Sk8-Hi LX model in a vibrant rich blue colorway. Built with a classic combination of canvas and suede, the upper is accented with a tri-color jazz stripe using red, white and blue shades, along with a translucent checkerboard outsole and dual branding on the shoe's tongue and custom footbeds. The kicks will be available at the Born Free event on June 24th and 25th at Silverado, CA. For those who can't make it out to the show, you can purchase the shoe online at starting Tuesday, June 27th, at 9 am PST. via

Michael Jordan's first professional contract contained a unique clause: the "Love of the Game" proviso would allow the UNC grad to compete in off-season pickup games. MJ would go on to invoke the clause for a UNC alumni game in 1986, in which he unknowingly debuted his original player edition, a Chicago "home" colorway of the Air Jordan 2, featuring Carolina Blue on the heel. The following year, he opted for a low version of the 2 in his alma mater's team colors. Jordan Brand combines the designs of each of those Air Jordan 2 models for the new "Love of the Game" pack, twinned with the Converse Fastbreak, the shoe that Michael wore during the 1984 Games.
Check out detailed looks below, and expect the "Love of the Game" pack to hit stores on June 28. via

adidas Originals Nizza Hi

This season finds adidas Originals resurrecting a '70s hardwood icon, the canvas Nizza, returning in a one-to-one reproduction of both its high-top and low-top iterations. The classic silhouette features the original 1975 blueprint, done up with the OG shape, OG materials and OG colorway. The shoe's durable canvas upper is finished in white, accented with blue embroidered 3-Stripes and branding details on the tongue and heel. A vulcanized rubber cupsole with blue foxing details, as well as the signature rubber toecap, round out the details. The Nizza Lo ($75) and Nizza Hi ($80) are slated to hit stores on June 29th.  via
