Air Jordan "Chinese New Year" 2017
Jordan Brand is celebrating the Chinese New Year with the Air Jordan 12. At first glance, the Air Jordan 12 "Chinese New Year" appears to be another retro of the "Taxi" 12, one of the silhouettes most recognizable colorways. While the color blocking is, in fact, very similar the upcoming Air Jordan 12 is a lot different from the OGs.
The Air Jordan 12 "Chinese New Year" features textured black panels on the sides of the sneakers, a white upper, and gold accents on the lace eyelets and Jumpman tabs. Chinese lettering is incorporated on the tongue and insoles. Shining light on these reveals a full reflective upper.
The Air Jordan 12 "Chinese New Year" is scheduled to release on January 28, 2017 for $250. via SoleCollector.com

mastermind JAPAN and BAPE Tease Upcoming Collaboration
Power Rangers Reboot Looking Promising
The Power Rangers remake is set to hit theaters in just a few months and the studios are doing a good job peeling the layers of the flick until it’s official reveal. Just a few weeks back, we received a first look at Alpha 5. We’ve also been treated to a trailer and some teaser images of the rangers and their zords before that, albeit just a piece of the mega machines’ heads.
Now through an exclusive by the ComicBook site, we get a somewhat closer view of the full design of some zords. The obvious rendition on the new poster is the Yellow Ranger’s battle bot alongside other zords walking in foggy terrain — those other ones are harder to make out however. There’s even a flying one in the sky, which we can guess is the pterodactyl counterpart of the zord in the old show. Obviously, these aren’t the familiar dino zords we’re used to, but it looks like these are well-equipped for a more serious type of war. We do see some weaponry at the front, which we can conjecture are guns or some type of blasters.
Let us know your thoughts. Are you feeling the new zord designs? Power Rangers comes out on March 24, 2017. via Hypebeast.com

1st Camo Shark Yank Sta M
With the release of adidas originals x Bape_Japan collab, I've decided to take another look at what Bape has to offer. As I was checking my daily YouTube Channel playlists, I came across a haul by Reggie Casual from the You Tube Channel "The Casual" and these popped up. Babe Camo Shark Yankstas.
Bape has been accused of stealing familiar styles of sneakers and adding their own twist to it but these of course remind of me of my favorite sneakers, Vans.
Why Van's? Primarily because they allow brothers with size 15 feet to stay fresh in a casual/skate shoe that's not sold out.
So the next question for many would be, what would you wear with this, outside of a "Bape'd" out head-to-toe ensemble. Personally, I'd keep it simple in all black with a slight camo and slight red design on a t-shirt, black jeans, and a black snapback, maybe with a camo brim. - The Real Dwayne Allen

Travel These Exotic Skateboarding Locations From Around the World
Evolved from a tiny Californian subculture, skateboarding has become a well-recognized and respected mainstream sport all over the world. With the growth of its commercial success and universal appeal, the boardsport is practically everywhere emanating the message of individuality and freedom. What started off when ocean swells were nowhere to be found, has turned into an entire industry, but more importantly, skateboarding has become a culture and to many, an entire lifestyle.
In the earliest days of the sport, surfers tried to recreate their exploits with wooden boards attached to wheels as they maneuvered down banked driveways and slopped pavement. Not long after, the sport began to evolve, shedding its novelty and even developing a certain vocabulary of its own. As the population of skaters grew, skateboarding started expanding from the streets to empty swimming pools. This would be an important advancement for skateboarders, as they were no longer constricted to the natural flow of landscape around them; they could create and explore their own environment.
As the phenomenon grows and skateboarding culture continues to integrate around the world (even being declared an official event in the 2020 Summer Olympics), more and more skate parks and smooth concrete jungles are popping up everywhere. Here we take a look at the more natural, exotic spots to enjoy the sport, from the mountains in Norway to the Zulu heartland of South Africa. via Hypebeast.com

Reebok Is Bringing Back the Shaq Attaq in 2017
Last year, Reebok resurrected the beloved Shaqnosis, opting for a colorway inspired by The Diesel’s stint as “The Big Shaqtus” in Phoenix, even throwing in its proprietary PUMP system for good measure. Now Reebok is doing the same with Shaquille O’Neal’s rookie kicks. And best of all? The drop stay true to the original.
Returning for the first time since 2013 and hot on the heels of last year’s Sneakersnstuff collab, the OG version of the Shaq Attaq echoes the look of 2013′s retro and appears to be a near one-for-one reproduction of the kicks Shaq donned on his way to PPG averages of 23.4 points, 13.9 rebounds and 3.5 blocks for the Orlando Magic and 1992-93 Rookie of the Year honors. Dressed in black nubuck and white leather with a dash of light grey suede, the kicks are highlighted by shiny “Orlando Blue” accents throughout, PUMP tech and Reebok’s first-ever use of Graphlite.
Retailing for $160 USD, the “Orlando Blue” edition of the Shaq Attaq will return to Reebok retailers sometime early next year.
