Nike Air Mag 2015 confirmed by Tinker Hatfield
Tinker Hatfield had some big news when he took the stage yesterday at Agenda Emerge – he confirmed the release of the Nike Air Mag in 2015. The origin of the shoe dates back to Back to the Future II in which Michael J. Fox’s character Marty McFly rocked the self-lacing system known as Power Laces. Then news came in July of last year that Nike had finally secured the patent for the automated lacing system found on the Nike Mags in the original film, thus bringing the futuristic technology into reality. We’re not too sure when the shoe will be releasing, but check out more photos of the Air Mag grail after the break and stay tuned for a confirmed release date in the near future. via SneakerNews.com
Under Armour UA Curry One
Introducing the Under Armour Curry One, Steph Curry‘s much deserved first ever signature sneaker with UA. The Warriors are currently coasting in a historically deep Western Conference and we could very well see an Under Armour signature athlete hoist an MVP trophy by season’s end. Steph’s UA Curry One has been years in the making and marks a significant growth for the brand’s basketball imprint given that they only entered the market a few years ago. The shoe will begin to release on February 13th, 2015 for a respectable $120. Here we get a look at a Warrior’s ‘Home’ aesthetic, one that features the ultra lightweight AnaFoam construction while what Under Armour is calling a ‘charged’ midsole adds a cushioning system for a comfortable and supportive ride. Check out more official photos after the break and be sure to check out more of our UA Curry One coverage. via SneakerNews.com
