More NBA Players signing with Chinese footwear companies

More and more Chinese footwear companies are emerging in the U.S. Basketball market. Along with Li-Ning, Anta, and Peak footwear are sponsoring Major players in the NBA such as Shaquille O'Neal, Kevin Garnett, Shane Battier, Jose' Calderon Baron Davis, and Jason Kidd. With this new emergence of Chinese footwear in the U.S. Basketball market, which will emerge as a true competitor of Nike now that players are leaving Adidas for more lucrative deals with footwear companies such as Under Armour or these various Chinese footwear companies. My money is on Li-Ning footwear.

Li-Ning: The Future

If you're wondering who's the next in line to give shoe game powerhouse a run for their money, it's Li-Ning. Li-Ning is a Chinese footwear and Apparel company who is slowly making their way into the US footwear market. Adidas is losing its steam in the shoe wear depart and Li-Ning as well as Under Armour is paying close attention. Who will prevail? I'm almost sure it's going to be Li-Ning footwear and apparel. With there first American basketball player sponsorship of Damon Jones, no one took Li-Ning seriously but as of today Li-Ning is the shoe sponsors of Baron Davis, Jose' Calderon, Shaquille O'Neal, and The #2 pick in the 2010 draft Evan Turner. Don't sleep on these guys. Li-Ning is as big in China as Nike. I've seen there shoes and I must say that it is only a matter of time before Nike sees these guys in their rear view mirror.
