Richard Mille RM 33-01 Skeletonized Automatic Watch

Even though the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie 2015 (SIHH 2015) won’t be till next year, watchmakers around the globe are already preparing for the all-important industry trade show. Among those participating will be Richard Mille, its familiar line of eloquence timepieces and new ones like the RM 33-01 Skeletonized Automatic Watch. Measuring at 45.70 mm in diameter yet with a thickness of 9.20 mm only, the Richard Mille RM 33-01 features the RMXP3 caliber movement, “skeletonized” so wearer can appreciate its intricate construction. Based on grade 5 titanium and entirely handmade, each of RMXP3’s moving parts went through a rigorous process of wet sandblast, electro-plasma treatment to finally micro-blast to achieve the desired satin finish. Encapsulated in a tonneau case with rounded shape waterproof up to 30 meters (98 feet) and numeral designs corresponding to the skeletonized construction, the RM 33-01 will be available in either titanium, red gold or white gold. via FreshnessMag.com
