Hublot Classic Fusion Tour Auto 2014

Every year, some of the world’s most iconic classic cars line up under the roof of the famous historic Grand Palais in Paris for the Tour Auto 2014. And, for the second year running, Hublot is signed-up to be the exclusive and official timekeeper for the event. To celebrate this year’s event, Hublot is unveiling the Tour Auto 2014 Classic Fusion Chrono, limited in number to just 100 pieces. Each is made with titanium, which provides a lightweight and durable material that is still resistant to corrosion and helps the overall sporty and elegant look of the timepiece. Inside, the watch is equipped with a HUB1143 self-winding mechanical Choronograph movement with date, comprised of over 280 components, including 59 jewels that oscillate at a frequency of 28,600 vibrations per hour. The look is finished with a satin-coated black sunray dial with a vertical red, white, and blue stripes honoring the French flag, two silver sunray satin counters, and a black perforated calfskin strap. Learn more about Hublot’s role in the event, the brand’s history in the world of motorsports, and how to find one of these at the watch’s own homepage. via Freshnessmag.com
