IWC 2014 Aquatimer Special Edition Collection

IWC has unveiled a new crop of Aquatimer watches for 2014 including these two special editions pictured above. The Galápagos Island and Expedition Charles Darwin models both feature chronograph movements and sport black dials with two sub-dials and a date aperture. The Galápagos Islands goes for an all-black look — perhaps as a nod to the island chain’s volcanic origins — offset by black numerals and indices, and the yellow hands on the bottom sub-dial and the pointer of the seconds hand. The Expedition Charles Darwin model goes for a more luxurious look with a case crafted from bronze, and bronze markers and indices set against the black dial. Look for both models, along with the rest of the 2014 Aquatimer collection, at IWC boutiques. via Hypebeast.com
