Weapon of Choice: Canon 60D

My first Weapon of Choice, a Canon 60D is the DSLR camera that I will invest in. Many of you know that I have decided to finally take the throne of photography in my family. My grandmother was a photographer and now the photography bug has bitten me and I am the rightful heir. So why the Canon 60D? For the longest time I was moving toward grabbing a standard Rebel T3i DSLR that most consumers grab. As I continued to do research, I realized that I wanted a DSLR camera that would meet both expectations of a full body professional camera and the affordable price of cropped series DSLR's. To make a long story short, I decided that the Canon 60D is a good balance. It's a semi-pro DSLR camera that can meet the needs of shooting photographs as well as shooting HD video. The Canon 60D DSLR camera is my latest weapon of choice.

Mitchell and Ness Chicago Bulls Grey/Black

Chicago Bulls Grey and Black Mitchell and Ness is sure to sell two-fold after the Chicago Bulls just derailed the Miami Heat's 27-game win streak. Grey and black are two color ways that you can never go wrong with on any fitted or snapback cap.

Adidas Hardcourt 2 Hi "Green Zest"

The latest trend nowadays have finally grabbed the attention of the major sportswear apparel companies like Nike and Adidias. Both companies have adopted the style of many street wear brands and have found success in doing so. I'm waiting to see how long it takes for Under Armour to make the jump next.

The Real Dwayne Allen "Rebranded"

My first REAL attempt at photography and photograph editing. The inspiration was the Reebok "Rebranded" campaign. I decided to highlight an area of my life that most people don't know too much about. Street skateboarding gives me a certain freedom that I don't find anywhere else. Gary Smith and crew at Vu Skateboard Shop have always encouraged me to keep skating and to jump back into. They represent what street skateboarding in Baltimore truly is......tough, resilient and real. If you don't believe me, take a trip to the resurrected Baltimore skate spot known as THE RIDGE!!!!!!!! #BaltimoreStreetskating #Realness

Video Production/Video Directing Tips and Tricks: "Three-Point Lighting"

Three-point lighting, also known as triangle or photographic lighting, utilizes both directional and diffused lighting to obtain the best results.

The main light, or key light, is positioned slightly above and to one side of the camera from the key light. It reduces the shadows (made by the key light) but should not eliminate them. The fill light also reduces the lighting contrast. The more the key light is offset, the more important this soft fill light (also known as filler or fill-in) becomes. If the key is nearly frontal, you may not need a fill light at all.

Finally, a back light is angled down onto the subject from behind to give some separation between the subject and the background. The back light emphases the shape of the subject.

The key light and back light are generally the same intensity. However, the back light may need to be reduced due to light hair color. The fill light is usually one-half or three-quarters the intensity of the key light  and back light.

Wherever possible, additional lights can be used to illuminate the background behind the subject. But where space or facilities are limited, spill illumination from the key lights and fill lights may be used to cover the background areas.

Kobe Bryant does it again!!!!!!

Kobe Bryant does it again as he wills the Lakers for the second straight win and one win from the 8th seed in the playoffs. Kobe Bryant had 41 points and 12 assists as the Laker beat the Raptors 118-116 in Overtime!!!! There's no denying Kobe Bryant's will to win and he playing like an MVP should play as the Lakers continue to finish strong for the rest of the season.

Bart Simpson - Do The Bartman (Official Video HQ)

I had to.........lol

Bartman

One of my childhood staples. As a youngster (like 4 or 5), I was able to watch The Simpsons but I had a few Simpsons t-shirts and one of those t-shirts had Bartman on it!!!!!! I remember for years trying to draw Bartman but it never came out right. Also enjoyed the Bartman dance. #90sClassic
