G-Shock MTG - S1000D Silver/Red
G-Shock presents a new metallic Silver and Red edition of the Casio G-Shock MTG-S1000D. In addition to multi-band six atomic timekeeping, the watch incorporates G-Shock’s Core Guard technology and Triple G Resist, which makes it resistant to shock, centrifugal force and vibration. These are all housed inside a metal and resin case paired to a layered composite band.
The watch is due for release in May with a price tag of ¥95,000 JPY (approximately $930 USD) plus tax. via Hypebeast.com
Nike SB Project BA R/R "Black/Anthracite-White"
Part of Nike SB’s “Rest and Recuperation” pack is this new pair of Project BAs. Up until now, BAs have featured thick, heavy materials, namely suede and leather, which are great during the colder months, but with Summer fast approaching, Brian Anderson’s signature sneaker receives a lightweight make over just in time, sporting a mesh upper with a perforated toe box. FILA Orange Pack
For Spring 2014, FILA resurrects a duo of retro basketball styles for the FILA Orange Pack, featuring seasonally appropriate hues reflecting the classic Miami color palette. There’s the KJ7 — the former signature shoe of Mayor Kevin Johnson — done up in a white leather build, accented with hits of teal and orange throughout the upper and outsole. It’s joined by the FILA Spaghetti, once worn by Jerry Stackhouse and making its first appearance in 2014. The new Richard Mille RM 38-01 for Bubba Watson is built with a matte-finish green bezel and caseback, foretelling the lefty’s claiming of a second green jacket at last week’s Masters. The new tourbillon watch includes Mille’s patented G-sensor, containing more than 50 moving parts within a 17mm space and allowing the user to see the accumulated motion of their swing in Gs. The G-sensor mechanism is integrated in the manual winding tourbillon movement, featuring a 48-hour power reserve. In addition to the innovative movement, the design is visually striking, featuring skeletonized, asymmetrical flying bridges and plates machined from grade 5 titanium with PVD treatment. There’s always something nifty to look forward to from Stussy and Casio G-Shock‘s longstanding collaborative series. The latest piece from the collection considers the classic DW-5600, executing the digital watch with a black and white checker pattern at the dial borders. The motif is contrasted by an illuminated blue dial, which reveals a subtle Stussy ‘double S’ logo. At the back, the square-cased watch is relieved with a co-branded Stussy and G-Shock engravings, while the rubber strap features a nod to both brands’ favorite cities. Known for its signature satellite system and avant-garde marvels like the EMC, UR-210, UR-110 and CC-1 Cobra, Geneva’s Urwerk mas unveiled its latest masterpiece: the UR-105M. At the heart of the design are four orbiting forged-aluminum satellites – each of which is visible throughout its 60-minute journey along the minute scale while a circular PEEK (PolyEtherEthercetone) canopy enhances the current hour. Coupled with the bronze beryllium Geneva cross-powered satellites is a honeycomb seconds disc that’s synchronized to another seconds indication on the right side of the case band. Nike Hyperposite Sequel
Last November Sneaker News gave you a look at an upcoming Nike Basketball model billed asa sequel to 2012′s Nike Air Max Hyperposite. The lightweight Foam-based material, most recently used on the popular LeBron 11, returns in this interesting new model, which cuts weight even further thanks to the porous upper, Huarache-like ankle, and mesh underlay. One interesting revelation is the full-length visible Zoom Air unit, seen in shoes like the LeBron 10 and KD 6 Elite, and a newly designed traction on the outsole.
